This is my weekly compilation of photos and prompts. If you’d like to see these delivered daily to your inbox when they’re first released, including some subscriber only exclusives, consider supporting my work with a Substack subscription (also complimentary, but donations welcome). Thanks for following my curiosity journey.

Stay curious, preferably with a camera in hand.

Help Me

Sometimes, it’s quite obvious. But often, it’s not. Seeing and caring for those who are frequently overlooked is an important skill. And, it might just change someone’s life.

Wisdom

This is what wisdom looks like.

Go find some.

Scared to Joy

You know that feeling…

It’s a shame if you don’t…highly recommended human condition.

Tuning

Information is plentiful. Signal, the message which matters, is true and is aiming to be helpful is often distorted or lost in all of the noise. It’s our job then to make the effort, to develop the skill of tuning ourselves for signal and ignoring just about everything else. We do this by learning, seeking to understand and by being curious. It’s also helpful to appreciate that what might be noise to us is signal for another. And, so the world turns.

Small Bits

It’s easy to see the larger parts in the final outcome. The golden brown crust on a freshly baked loaf of bread. Or, the smoothness of a newly paved street. But, what had to come before? What invisible, small bits were essential to making the thing just right? This of course also applies to talent, grit, extra effort, persistence, obsession, failure and everything we humans pour into something to making it better.

The next time you experience something amazing, it might be nice to give a nod to all the small bits which someone fretted over to make it just so.

Someone

It’s just some recycled plastic bottle hanging from a wire screen. Yet, it was done with intention, with an eye for creating something worth stopping for. And, perhaps for striking an emotional chord.

It’s not for everyone. The key point is it was made for someone. And, it might not work for everyone else.

Ignore everybody. Focus on somebody. Be specific with your intention.

Be Great

Living into possibility doesn’t need to be complicated. But, it does require a goal. Might as well be something worth doing. Say’n.
