Stay curious, preferably with a camera in hand.

Tunnel Vision
It comes in handy when we want to focus. But, it’s also quite limiting. There’s a time and place for everything, including how we choose to see the world.

Frozen
The dead of winter can seem well, lifeless. But, frozen also gives us a chance to see a different kind of beauty. Life is still in there. It’s just a little stuck at the moment.

Drip Drip
Big moves are overrated. Small, tiny and consistent actions toward a meaningful goal are far more effective.
What does our drip drip look like?

Boundaries
They’re all around us. And, they’re ll invented. Some keep us safe. Some inspire us to work better. And, some just make us feel good.
Respecting someone’s boundaries is a generous act. Knowing when to explore and test our own is too. But, they don’t always play well together. Testing boundaries is an important part of cultural evolution. And, it might not always work.

Striking
First impressions mean a lot. And, it’s often the one we remember the most.
We can be intentional about our impression. Or, we can let it occur on its own. Either way, it happens. Might as well lean in a bit to create the mood we’re really after.

Open
How rare is it we truly open all of our doors? And, even more rare is going first.
How can we encourage more openness today?

Keep Out
It’s easy to make someone feel unwanted. The signals are unmistakable. And while sometimes unintentional, they’re quite prevalent. Openness on the other hand is harder to find. Connection seems like something to be avoided, despite it’s power to heal, help and serve the greater good.
The good news is we each have the power to change the signals. We can choose to be seen as more generous, more empathetic and more curious about how others are doing. Two suggestions…Start with a smile. Offer to help.
Come In is just as much a of a strategic decision as Keep Out. Choose wisely.
