Weekly Grab

This is my weekly compilation of photos and prompts. If you’d like to see these delivered daily to your inbox when they’re first released, including some subscriber only exclusives, consider supporting my work with a Substack subscription (also complimentary, but donations welcome). Thanks for following my curiosity journey.

Stay curious, preferably with a camera in hand.

Far Out

Sometimes, we need to look further away to see things more closely.

What’s being missed by our current field of view?

Oops

The moment we realize we’ve arrived somewhere we shouldn’t have. It’s also a situation filled with possibility. The question is…what will we do with it?

Living fully in the moment, embracing the unexpected is a skill worth working on.

Inviting

Proof, being open isn’t always inviting. Inspiring and enrolling someone to go with us requires more than merely leaving the door open. What will it feel like when I walk through? What work do we need to show, story do we need to tell in order to make someone feel invited?

Time

Time is indeed fleeting. What are we going to do with that next tick? Or, the one we’re in right now?

Worrying about the inevitable isn’t a good strategy. But, living more into the precious moment we have right now might be.

Time is on our side if we choose to see it that way.

Seeing

Seeing isn’t always a choice. But if we’re lucky enough, what we do choose to see is up to us. The question is are we stopping long enough to notice.

Stay curious…in the moment.

Decide

More information, more time, more selections…at some point we just need to decide. More isn’t always as helpful as we envision it to be. Perhaps less would be more helpful.

Deciding isn’t the hard part. Being okay with the outcome is the real challenge.

Support

Getting support is a function of how much we give. Offering help is a magical force, often returning to us when we need it the most.

Where can we give more support? Because everyone needs some, especially when they think they don’t.
