What characteristics and qualities make something worth stopping for? Out of the ordinary, yes. But, it still needs to be good. Otherwise, it’s just a gimmick.
BTW, Watson’s is worth the trip.
Specific
There are times, more than we think, when removing the guesswork makes the experience better. Design and beauty are wonderful. But sometimes, function should take the lead.
What parts of the experience we offer would be better if they were more clear?
Pose
Showing up how we need to be for the situation is an important skill. It’s what professionals do because we’ve made the commitment. But, even more important is how we are when no one is looking…this is where true character begins and ends.
What’s In a Name?
It’s simply a story wrapped up in a word or two. Of course, our version might not match theirs. Choose wisely.
Parade
Sometimes, it’s hard to tell who’s in the show. Perhaps we’re actually more interesting.
Guarded
Many of our fences are far more subtle than a physical barrier.
How many do we have up? What are we guarding against? And, how are they preventing connection, engagement and our path forward?
