Weekly Grab

This is my weekly compilation of photos and prompts. If you’d like to see these delivered daily to your inbox when they’re first released, including some subscriber only exclusives, consider supporting my work with a Substack subscription (also complimentary, but donations welcome). Thanks for following my curiosity journey.

Stay curious, preferably with a camera in hand.

Empty

We’re almost always seeking to achieve the opposite. Our focus is on filling…time, energy, a grocery cart. When does emptiness serve as a worthy goal?

Contentment

It’s unmistakable and pretty easy to spot. And, it’s often the result of a small act.

How can we bring someone some contentment today?

Assembly Line

We can put care and craft into everything…even if we make more than one. It just gets harder for bigger batches. And, this is precisely when we notice your choice the most.

Aligned

Teams are more effective if they’re aligned, especially at the core with common values and purpose. It only takes one or two to create unbalance. Take the extra time to truly understand what makes someone tick. Select wisely.

Stories

Stories matter. Otherwise, it’s just four coins, a washer and a piece of candy. Facts are kind of dry and uninteresting when they’re left on their own.

Isolation

Sometimes, it’s done to us. But more often, it’s our own creation.

Sometimes, it’s limiting. Other times, it fuels creativity.

How might we use isolation more to our advantage, regardless of how it arrives?

Smooth

Traction comes in many forms. Sometimes, less tread, less roughness achieves better results.

Where can we add some smoothness, remove the rough edges, to gain some more traction?
