Stay curious, preferably with a camera in hand.

Tools
Tools are a vital component of craftsmanship. But, artistry requires more…a unique point of view.
Thank you Rick for the reminder.

Waste
Anything artistic requires some sort of waste, the part we remove to make it better. What if we do it with intention? Rather than adding, what needs to be removed? What are the fewest number of notes we can play to make a song?

Hanging Around
The company we keep is one of the biggest influences on who we are, where we’re going and who we will become. Who we hang out with in work, play and friendships is really, really important. Please choose wisely.

Ready
The state of being prepared. It’s a seemingly endless quest, always being ahead of the next thing. When would being unprepared serve us better?

Plugged In
The only way to achieve complete focus is to be completely plugged in and aware of the present. What does being plugged in look like? Where and when does our best focus occur? How can we plug in more?

Personal
Art works better when it’s personal. And, when it’s not for everyone. Perhaps it strikes a chord with just a few. We know it’s further from being art when it’s impersonal and everyone seems to like it.

Watch
First, there needs to be something worth watching. What are we doing, making or saying which is worth someone’s attention? How about ten, one hundred or one thousand?
