Weekly Grab

This is my weekly compilation of photos and prompts. If you’d like to see these delivered daily to your inbox when they’re first released, including some subscriber only exclusives, consider supporting my work with a Substack subscription (also complimentary, but donations welcome). Thanks for following my curiosity journey.

Stay curious, preferably with a camera in hand.

Fenced

Barriers are useful. They keep some unwanted things out. But, they might also be keeping something in…which needs to get out.

Weathered

Not necessarily worn out. But, definitely experienced.

Find someone who looks weathered and ask them where they’ve been. Enjoy the trip.

Washed

We spend a lot of time cleaning, polishing, making things more tolerable and useful. But, this can be overdone. In what ways would it serve us better to remain unwashed?

Road

Even the road to nowhere arrives somewhere.

Might be worth a try…

Quirky

Sometimes, we need to go through quirky to find something interesting.

Curiosity has an interesting path if we give it a chance. Find the odd, peculiar and strange and give it a go.

Fill

Gaps open up. Occasionally, we’re lucky to be gifted more time and space. An important decision then is how to fill them. Choose wisely.

Handmade

Rare these days. And, special when we stumble upon it.

Two suggestions. 1. Thank someone who is making something and putting it into the world. 2. Make something and put it into the world.
