Naming
What’s in a name? What are we meant to feel? How is it to be used? Which emotional chord should it activate? Or, is it just a thing.

Drag
The key to noticing, learning and understanding more is to go more slowly. As the world moves ever more quickly, it’s useful to reflect on what methods we can use to slow things down a bit. What can we do with intention to take in more of our surroundings? Where can we add some drag?

Delicate
What if we treated everyone and every situation like it was fragile? What if we were steadfast with our care and generosity even in the most adverse situations? Will this make it better?
Treating things delicately is a requirement in things like baking, shaving or landing an airplane, where precision is vitally important to a successful outcome. But, what if it’s a choice? Does a delicate approach help or hinder us?

Shelf
We have a limited capacity to carry everything we need all at once. Somewhere, there’s a shelf we can draw reserves from. Who do we turn to when we need some help, someone to lean on? Where do we go when we need additional expertise?
What additional resources do we need to keep us going? And, are we vulnerable enough to be open to using them?

Uninterested
Most of the time, it’s fairly obvious.
What signals are we giving off indicating our lack of interest, especially when someone wants us to be?

Moment
It’s at this point when leadership counts the most.

Plain
Making use of banal, ordinary and plain is in itself a craft. It works in the right context. Otherwise, it gets lost in the land of the regular kind.
