Abandoned
Why do we live it behind? What changed?
Maybe it’s worth saving, bringing the stories back to life. Or, never letting go in the first place.

Lending
…is obviously different than giving. Unlike a gift, with a loan there’s an expectation of return. But, most gifts aren’t unconditional either. They have different type of return. When someone makes a large donation to a college or an art museum, there’s a string attached. It might not be monetary. But, it’s there. Even a simple birthday wish or a smile for a stranger wants something back.
Most of the time we’re lending not giving, which is okay (because the terms are usually so favorable). As long as we understand that’s what we’re really doing.

Open
A leaf is designed for maximum exposure to gather the energy and nutrients it needs to ensure the plant’s life. It does its job…and dies, so the rest can live.
Our openness, or not, impacts how we live. And more importantly, how others around us live. Open or closed…our choice matters. Choose wisely.

Fallen
Nothing lasts forever. But our legacy does. Choosing to matter while we’re in a position to do so is uniquely human.
What can we do today to ensure our impact isn’t lost once we’ve fallen?

Nature
Good advice. Words to live by for sure.
Seek it out. Then, appreciate it, whatever it is. Remain curious.

Locked Up
What’s holding us back? Constraints, beliefs, lack of skill or competency?
It’s rarely as straightforward as a lock and key.

Summer Camp
Beginning 7.13.2024, I’m officially on “vacation”. But, those which know me understand this doesn’t mean standing still, relaxing on a beach, etc. Staying curious, I’m now on the road at Summer Camp with MINI and will cover about 7,000 miles or so in about 11 days. So, there will be little computer time and posting will be intermittent. But, I will catch up at the end and post when I can in the meantime. And, please know I’ll be collecting plenty of nuggets along the way.
Thank you for following my curiosity journey…see you towards the end of July.
