Reflections
If only we could see how others see.

Mapped
Guides are helpful in our various life journeys. But no matter how detailed the map, we ultimately still need to choose which way to go. Choose wisely.

Refuge
Beyond physical harm, why do we run for cover? What are we hiding from? What’s the shelter for?
What’s one thing we’re taking refuge from today we’d like to change? How can we take the first step?

Breaks
Most projects are more manageable when they’re broken down into smaller parts. Even life itself isn’t one long run when you think about it.
A break might be the most useful tool in any long game endeavor. And, they either happen to us, usually at the wrong time and place. Or alternatively, we can get better planning how to use them to serve us better.
Where’s the best spot for our next break?

Prep
What sort of effort does the finished thing include? How much learning, trial and error and practice did it take? Too often, what seems simple really isn’t. There’s probably more to it than meets the eye.
Process, crafting, systems, collaboration and prep are becoming lost in the ether of immediacy. It might be worth a closer look. It will probably make it taste better. Stay curious.

Nosey
A posture of seeking to know more is important. But, so is minding our own business.
Knowing when and how to put our noses into something requires real skill. Realizing not everything requires our attention, help and interruption might be the most important trait of all.

Lean
It’s rare to fly solo. There’s almost always someone there for us. Who are we leaning on to accomplish our best work? Who’s in the background going unrecognized?
Who’s leaning on us? Who can we support, perhaps even when it’s not in our own best interest?
