Classroom
The design and set up of the classroom might be the most important elements to ensure any real learning takes place. Unfortunately, most aren’t. They’re developed for one way presentations, transferring information efficiently to groups of people.
Engagement, through carefully thought out physical spaces and artful delivery of the subject matter earns attention. Simply adding more rows of desks isn’t the answer.

Curated
Selection for presentation is an art. It requires skill, expertise and some hubris. What we choose might not work, for the moment. Or, it might bring someone some delight.
What’s the difference between our curated and real selves? Which one benefits the others the most? And, which one shows up the most consistently?

Blank
Too often, we begin solving something with a preconceived idea of how it should turn out. What if we began with a completely blank slate instead? If we can make the time, the extra steps might be worth it. And if we’re lucky, it will lead us somewhere new.

Handmade
If we choose something handmade, we’re probably looking for something flawed, unique in its own way. We’re hoping to see the imperfect human touch which makes our selection special.
It’s really hard to make something exactly the same by hand. Equally challenging is for a machine to produce one of a kinds. But, it probably won’t be long…sadly.

Natural
Every once in a while, we are fortunate enough to stumble upon something simple, natural and delightful.
The most meaningful things don’t have to be grand. In fact, most of the time they aren’t if we just take the time to notice. Stay curious.

Illuminate
If we’re unseen or misunderstood, we might need to shine a little light, love or generosity on things to gain enrollment. Illumination might just give us the insight we need to believe.
Sometimes, clarity needs a little help.

Make Believe
It’s very challenging to convince someone to change their mind, especially the further out we venture into the unknown. Perhaps a better strategy is to just have some fun with the idea instead.
Pretending something is true might actually serve us better than knowing for sure. And, it still leaves the door cracked for possibility.
