Calculated

There are times when a more precise action and result are required. Anytime we are producing to spec, for exactness, calculations are in order. But, the vast majority of the time we’re making art, which has very little to do with precision. The smile we receive from the person at the counter isn’t calculated (or at least it shouldn’t be). It comes from a desire to delight, which doesn’t come from a machine. It’s a function of heart and soul.
