A well marked path offers a constraint, stay here, don’t stray. This gives us the freedom of not choosing. It relieves the tension of deciding which way to go next. But, when it’s all prescribed, there’s the possibility of missing the delight which only comes with that tension, when we stumble upon something we’re glad we found…off the path. Choose wisely.
