Facts

How do we know what happened? When is a fact a fact?

Our truth might be different than someone else’s based on the presentation. The words used, the angle of the photograph, the volume of the recording. It all matters in how we interpret the offering. A social media post is somehow different than an “official” copy or “certificate of authenticity”. Both are deniable, arguable. But the responsibility which comes with the latter is greater due almost solely to the durability and status of the record.

The wrapper matters, almost as much as the what’s inside.
