Fame is an artificial goal, often a fleeting moment of notoriety. And in the celebration of the achievement, we can forget what came before it. The hardships, the failures, the breakthroughs, practices and daily grind. It’s the process and those we touch along the way which makes it all worthwhile.
We get to learn and do meaningful work, despite the outcome. The badge shouldn’t be the reason to do it. We should do it because it matters.
