They tell a story. Maybe they’re a reminder of a special place and how it felt to be there. Or, perhaps they represent a dream of somewhere we wish to go. Or, maybe they’re a symbol, reminding us who we are and what we care about.
We put it on the shelf because it takes us somewhere.
