What does it take to command attention? More importantly, how long does it last? We earn attention when there’s a two-way respect for the exchange…when there’s something important and desired on offer. Crazy acts and dramatic moments can grab someone’s attention. But, fleeting doesn’t do much to serve the long run. How can we develop skills which create tension? The tension of taking people somewhere they might want to go, but don’t yet know how to get there.
