Chris Anderson’s Long Tail asserts we should focus on small audiences over longer periods of time. And, that the big hits, catering to the masses, in some cases is an overrated strategy. Of course, no matter which method we choose, it only works if we can get enough people interested in our work. Because, no matter which tail we’re banking on, long or short, remarkable trumps banal every time.
How interesting would our offer need to be where one is enough? What would this performance of a lifetime look like?
