Vanity

We like to keep track of who’s been where. In some ways it provides construct and validation to things. It also helps determine popularity. What’s a hit, and what’s not. Who gets funded, and who doesn’t. It’s largely a numbers game. And, when we get counted, it counts. But, beyond the numbers, when record our names with intent, there’s something more interesting going on…look, I’ve been here. And, that’s largely for us, not for them.
