The positive side of sameness is predictability, which is good when we need to meet spec. But, it’s also quite dull. Uniqueness on the other hand is what most of us covet. Something to capture our interest and make us feel personally connected to it. Sameness might not be the answer if we’re trying to strike an emotional chord.
