We often work pretty hard to get to the usable part. But, it’s not nearly as hard as the evolutionary work it took to make the protective coating we are hoping to remove. In fact, shucking is quite easy in comparison.
It takes a long time to build our protective barriers…our physical prowess, values and belief system. But as much as we might think we’re protected, we’re plenty vulnerable to some shucking…which might just be a good thing.
