We’ve been capturing images, making photographs, since the early 1800’s. The fascination with imagery goes back even further to around 1,000 AD. We seem to have always had a strong desire to record events, people and places. Why? What does it serve?
Images change us. They strike a chord, much like music and the spoken word. And, if we’re lucky, some leave just enough unsaid to stimulate imagination.
